In the past 10 years we have been able to operate our service oriented business primarily based on the loyalty and devotion of our clientele. These clients have entrusted their beloved pets into our care allowing us to make some of the greatest four legged friends which we continue to see on a regular basis. We have seen young pups grow into well rounded adult dogs and we have helped in keeping dogs healthy and energetic well into their senior years. Dear Mina,

As you know, our beloved Félix has left us on October 24, on a beautiful sunny day. We worried about his declining health and went to DMV to see his neurologist to evaluate his condition and quality of life. These past few days, he was quite listless, had more difficulty to get up and walk and seemed exhausted.

The doctor confirmed that his health and quality of life had deteriorated considerably and that it was a question of very little time before he injures himself or suffers. We had promised ourselves that we would find the courage to let him go peacefully and without pain when the time would come.

Rest assured that he passed away peacefully, with lots of kisses and hugs. We know how much you loved him and that you share our sorrow. We are heartbroken. Life is very sad without him.

We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful care, devotion, love and attention that you and your great staff bestowed on our beloved Félix. You were like a second home and family for him. He really enjoyed staying with you.

If there is a heaven for dogs, we are sure that Félix dreams about Robert’s special stew.

Hello everybody! I am a 4year Rottweiler, my name is Buyan but friends call me Boo-Boo.

Let me tell you about this wonderful place which I know since my puppyhood.

Mtldogs is a welcoming cosy spacious and clean place.

First thing you notice – cat in every window enjoying the sun; their hotel rooms located this way on purpose so each of them has their own access to light.

At the reception area there is water, cookies, toys and dogs are off the leash in order to be able to get familiar with the new environment and possibly make some new friends. I was allowed to smell everything and look around right away.

Indoor and outdoor playing areas are very big and dogs can choose where they prefer to be. Sleeping area is cosy, cages` walls are from floor till ceiling which gives opportunity for big guys like me to move and jump around freely; there is even TV for us to watch – how cool is that! By the way, small size dogs are sleeping separate from us, so we don’t annoy each other with barking.

The whole family (me and my owners Natasha & Sheldon) took private training course with Mina. It was lots of fun and educative playing for me and tons of useful information for my parents. Thanks to Mina my owners understand me much better now! They have all the necessary tools for solving possible conflicts without agitating (you know humans – they are so easy to get upset :D). And I can enjoy everyday walks with Natasha (who is petite and weights a little less than me) knowing that she is confident and not stressed.

Pet hotel (boarding service) is also something that worth mention about. Frankly speaking, the very first time my parents had doubts how I would handle the whole week without them. And what a pleasant surprise was for them seeing me not willing to leave mtldogs place! No wonder – lots of attention, love, hugs and care from dedicated staff; multiple daily walks, playtime with other dogs, plenty of toys, dinner always on time, my own cosy spot for resting and even “spa” treatment (my nails are done and I got nice bath) – what`s there not to like!

So my parents don’t worry any more – they know I loooooove the place. And any time they go for a vacation they have peace of mind knowing that after they will pick me up healthy, happy, well exercised and clean.

By the short way, I love mtldogs place and highly recommend it to everybody!

This is my Siberian husky Lupo. Huskies are also known as escape artists ! Starting the training at Montreal dogs has been tremendously helpful, he sits, lies down, stays, goes to bed on command, has become sociable with other dogs and is quite amazing at recall as you see in this video!! He is 5 months old and is doing great progress with training. The Training program at MTL dogs is fantastic! Could not have picked a better place to better my husky!

Recently, upon arriving in Mtl after an extended 10 year sojourn out west....I discovered Mtl dogs. What a find! Mina, the owner, really loves canines, and it shows. Customers arriving or leaving with their dogs, are always grinning as she fawns over their 4 legged friends. Not only does she spoil them rotten (the dogs), she remembers their names as if they were her best buds! My Tater stayed 14 nights, had play time ( a great service) almost every day, and was more relaxed after his visit, than any other time we had left him, ANYWHERE. He was in a word....MELLOWED OUT. I heartily recommend MTL DOGS, what a terrific service, for dog and owner...

When I adopted my first Siberian Husky from a rescue organization, I was in for a shock: this gorgeous adult fur ball was not socialized, was leash-aggressive, would not respond to any command and quickly demonstrated to me why the members of his breed are known as "escape artists"!

Mtl Dogs has proven a life saver. I will always be grateful that none of Baïka's behavioural issues scared you. We were readily welcomed and I am truly amazed at how friendly and truly caring everyone is. Doggie day care has provided my Sibe with the "pack dog" experience as well as the exercise required to transform him into a well balanced, confident, happy, socialized and healthy dog.

Despite working long hours and living in the city, I was able to rescue a second Siberian, secure in the knowledge that through doggie day care, my huskies' basic needs for exercise and company would be fulfilled.

Mtl Dogs feels like a second home to my boys and the busy working human in our family particularly appreciate your "one stop address" concept: food, toys, boarding, training, nails cutting, grooming... no need to run anywhere else, it is readily available!

I found Mtl Dogs after quite a long search for a private training with my wonderful 2 year old whippet, Billy. Me and my family mostly needed the training I have to admit.

I took private classes at Mtl Dogs with Mina over a period of three months in the summer of 2009. Right after the first class, I felt right away better equiped and knew better how to handle my best friend. Mina helped me understand my dog, his behavior, his breed and she gave me and my family an easy and fun routine to practice at home.

My dog turned out to be quite a fast learner. Billy is still a diva and a bit of a drama queen. However, is behavior changed as he is now calmer, more balanced, confident and even more enjoyable to live with.

Mina is flexible, available and very generous of her knowledge. She made us feel like family and whenever we go back for playtime, we truly feel welcome. We thank her for everything.

Thanks for a great training session today. When we got home, we put her on the leash and started training right away. She was amazing and almost as obedient as she was with you today. It's going to be such a pleasure over the next few days to see how she reacts.

The staff at Mtl Dogs are the best. I was impressed at the care they give to all the dogs. Each one an extended part of their family. We live on the south shore of Mtl and would drive 40 minutes each way to bring our dog Zeus (German Shepherd) to play with the other dogs. At first we were nervous with Zeus due to his fast growth and size...many people fear a German Shepherd, so we knew we would need help in controlling him and ensure he would be a loving & caring pet. Firstly if you want to ensure your dog is social and learns to behave in public and interact in a good way with other dogs make sure you put them in daycare...as early as possible. Thank goodness Mtl Dogs offers that service. We were nervous at first but Mina reassured us that Zeus would be alright. Sure enough he is really great with other dogs.

As for training we had a couple of private trainers (before we knew about Mtl Dogs) who did a good job at teaching the dog, but bad at teaching us. It's pointless to have the dog do everything only with the trainer. Zeus would not listen to us at all, even after hundreds of dollars of at home training.

Now Zeus listens and it's because of Mina's amazing human and dog training skills. For the humans we had homework and for the dog it was all about positive reinforcement, no chokers or any type of bad correctional methods.

Zeus is almost a year old and we owe all our thanks and gratitude to Mtl Dogs for making sure Zeus is a social, loving and happy dog who listens. We recommend Mtl Dogs to anyone who really wants the best for their dogs.
